Metal Kombat

Metal Kombat is a pvp 2D fighting game in which you play as the visual representation of a certain metal. The physical properties influence the play style of the metal you choose. Pick a light element for high agility and combo potential, or choose a heavy metal that will deal a crazy amounts of damage. 

Knowledge will be key in you victory. Do you remember the elastic modulus of you opponent? What metal should I choose to alloy with? Will this electrical attack finish the fight? In the real world, the laws of physics dictate which metal is stronger. But in Metal Kombat, it's all up to you!

Disclaimer : This prototype was done by a team of four students, and animated by hand in the span of half a semester. Some game mechanics were not implemented.
